Retail tech outfit Product Guru, which is based in Glasgow, has netted an investment of £230,000 from Scotmid Coop and Techstart VC, with a further £100,000 in funding via Scottish Enterprise.

Product Guru, the product discovery platform that allows brands to showcase their products to retail buyers, is continuing to champion emerging brands by launching The Pantry Live, a virtual alternative to food and drink trade shows.
Glasgow-based Product Guru, which describes itself as a product discovery platform letting brands showcase their products to retail buyers, is behind new offering The Pantry Live. The online event will be held on 5 and 6 October, enabling suppliers to showcase their products in a virtual exhibition hall and network with industry experts.
Product Guru was part of a group of Scottish businesses taking part in the Scottish EDGE finals on the 3rd of December 2019 at the Royal Bank of Scotland Conference Centre at Gogarburn in Edinburgh.
In September, 2018, Product Guru attended the Tech. Awards hosted by Retail Week and World Retail Congress in London. The event was the most important two-day festival in retail technology showcasing the most innovative and disruptive solutions for the retail sector.
