Product Guru was part of a group of Scottish businesses taking part in the Scottish EDGE finals on the 3rd of December 2019 at the Royal Bank of Scotland Conference Centre at Gogarburn in Edinburgh.
Only a year after the launch of our digital product discovery platform, our team at Product Guru pitched our business idea and vision in the semi-finals on this prestigious competition in Scotland, which champions innovation and entrepreneurship – and proudly won a Scottish EDGE Award.
It was a pivotal moment for the start-up team at Product Guru to have gained such recognition after bringing our idea to life.
Our award-winning discovery platform was granted £50K for their pioneering web-based platform aimed at streamlining the process for retail buyers to search and find innovative challenger brands.
Scottish EDGE is the UK’s biggest funding competition for potential high growth businesses. It supports Scotland’s most innovative, high-growth potential early-stage businesses with up to £150,000 in cash and provides a business support package that includes mentoring, support and signposting to alternative finance.
